Established in 2019 and always growing.

Club History

The Heathmont Jets Junior Netball Club came to life in 2019, when the Rangeview Rangers Netball Club—which had been proudly around since 1988—joined forces with the Heathmont Jets to form something new and exciting.

This merger gave us a perfect foundation: the Rangers’ long-standing journey in junior netball, paired with the strong community spirit of the Jets, all under one club banner. It also marked our official affiliation with Netball Victoria and welcomed us into the Melbourne East Netball Association (MENA) family.

Right from the beginning, our focus has been inclusivity and enjoyment. We’ve formed teams across all age groups—from the fun-focused NetSetGO (5‑ and 6‑year‑olds) right up to Under‑17s and Open divisions—making sure that everyone, regardless of experience level, has a spot on court.

We train on weeknights (Monday through Thursday), with times and days matched to each coach and squad's needs.

And when it's game time, you'll find us Friday evenings or Saturdays at Maroondah Nets at HE Parker Reserve in Heathmont—our netball home base.

In short, our history is all about combining strong roots with fresh energy. We're proud of how far we've come—and now in 2025 the club has grown to more than 200 players and a supportive community of families and volunteers.
